The 9th Shield Incorporated
9th Shield Security began offering services in the local area about three years ago; however, this does not mean that it is 'brand new.' The CEO of the company: Justin Metoyer is an innovative security professional with more than 25 years of experience. He specializes in directing private protection operations, including executive protection for celebrities and CEOs, and founded his own business in 2020.
His expertise includes narcotics and explosive K9 handling, workplace violence, asset transportation, high-profile client protection, and surveillance. Besides his work, he actively contributes to the community by volunteering at the Hemet Police Department and the Menifee Police Department and he founded The 9th Shield Incorporated in honor of his father's legacy.
When Mr. Metoyer started the company, he did so with a vision of having highly trained individuals in key positions in the organization. Most supervisors and managers with 9'h Shield are former police officers or have prior military experience. Just to highlight a few examples in the local area: his operations manager, Eric Dickson is a retired Police Lieutenant from the Hemet Police Department with more than 25 years of Law Enforcement experience. The field supervisor in the local area is Pete Balestrieri. Mr. Balestrieri served in the United States Army as Air Assault Infantry for three years until he was honorably retired. Mr. Balestrieri has over 19 years of experience as a security professional. Retired Rialto police Sergeant Chris Hice provides ongoing training to our guards to ensure that they are up to date with current case law.
Unlike many security companies, 9th Shield Security has 24-hour dispatching. This makes us more readily available to our clients as we have a dispatcher ready to take their call, assess their needs, and to dispatch a guard. We believe this also makes our guards safer because they have direct communication via radio with our dispatchers who track their movements and can coordinate responses from other nearby guards if necessary.
