MENIFEE, Calif. – The Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Luna as its new President and CEO. With over 12 years of chamber management experience, including five years as a CEO, Luna brings a seasoned perspective and deep commitment to economic growth, community development and strategic partnerships.

Efforts to fill the role began in early 2024. Jesse Simms, chairman of the board, had this to say, “Katie Luna’s record demonstrates a keen acumen for chamber leadership which has earned her the confidence of our directorship. With a new President/CEO in place, the Menifee chamber is primed to launch into the coming years with renewed vitality and dedication.” The Chamber Board is committed to strategically enhancing and re-grounding the efforts of the chamber to better serve the needs of the business community.

In her previous role as CEO of the Brawley Chamber of Commerce, Luna led the organization through a period of financial recovery, facilitated strategic merger discussions and successfully managed the complexities brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also spearheaded a major rebranding initiative to revitalize Brawley’s business environment. Her leadership and impact earned her recognition on the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive’s 40 Under 40 list.

Luna’s expertise extends to nonprofit capacity building, business and workforce development, and creating programs that uplift the local community. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with chamber boards, ambassadors, city and county officials, and community stakeholders to drive meaningful change and foster sustainable alliances.

“Serving as a chamber President/CEO is a unique role requiring vision, strategic insight, and a genuine connection to the community,” said Luna. “I am dedicated to being a servant leader, as well as a convener, catalyst, and champion for growth and collaboration.”
