MVCC Expands Advocacy for a Thriving Future
Strengthening Menifee's Business Voice

As Menifee continues to be one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, so do the challenges and opportunities that come with it. To that end, MVCC's Legislative Committee is committed to advocating for policies that support our business community, ensuring that Menifee’s unique needs are represented at every level of government.
For years, our committee has worked alongside
the Southwest California Legislative Council (SWCLC) collaborating with fellow chambers and prominent businesses in our region to analyze state-level legislation, take positions on key issues, and amplify the collective voice of businesses in our area. This work has helped shape policies impacting economic development, infrastructure, workforce regulations, and more.
Looking ahead, we are expanding our advocacy efforts. We aim to strengthen our presence within Menifee’s city government, engage more actively at the county and state levels, and ensure our concerns are heard as far as Washington, D.C. As our city grows, our businesses need tailored advocacy that reflects Menifee’s distinct priorities, which may differ from those of surrounding communities.
The year is just getting started, but through the SWCLC, we have already addressed California bills on topics such as high-speed rail (AB 273), CEQA (AB 404), the Small Business Procurement and Contract Act (SB 70), our state highway system (SB 78), and punishments for dealing fentanyl (SB 432), to name a few.

Whether through attending events, providing feedback on policy issues, responding to surveys, or helping us communicate business concerns to lawmakers, your participation will help shape the future of Menifee’s business environment.
